We are adding an Automotive Technician to our team at St. Albert Dodge/ The right candidate will be customer focused, and be seeking a long-term position. Responsibilities:

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Inspect and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment on new, pre-owned, and customer vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
  • Must perform thorough, precise, and accurate inspections with photos and detailed notes in our electronic system on every job. We pay you for your inspection time - we want it done right on every vehicle.
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
  • Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.Other duties as required
