Description:
We are currently seeking an Automotive Technician / Tire Changer to join our team. The idea candidate would be responsible for repairing and maintaining various makes and models of vehicles. From routine maintenance to mechanical repairs, the Automotive Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of customers’ vehicles.
Automotive Technician /Tire Changer – working as part of the Vehicle Service’s Team you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
- Perform vehicle inspections
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations and changes, and brake inspections
- Perform seasonal tire changes and tire repair
- Light mechanical repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and protocols
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and recommendations
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Automotive training or equivalent experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
