Job Summary
Hogan Chevrolet Buick GMC Limited is looking for a skilled Automotive Transmission Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a high level of knowledge of vehicle electronics to diagnose and repair transmission issues. The Automotive Transmission Technician will be an integral part of the automotive service team, offering top-notch customer service and quality workmanship.
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3-5 YEARS OF AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE WORKING AND REBUILDING TRANSMISSIONS
Compensation & Benefits
The Automotive Transmission Technician position offers a competitive compensation package of $65,000 to over $100,000 per year ( to be discussed upon interview) paid biweekly. In addition, this position also offers comprehensive health and dental benefits.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, inspect, adjust, and repair transmissions in a variety of vehicles
- Repair or replace transmission components
- Carefully follow all safety procedures when operating any equipment or machinery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of repairs
- Communicate effectively with customers
- Provide top-notch customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
Hold a valid 310S or equivalent
- ASE certification is preferred
- 3-5 years of automotive experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to diagnose and repair transmission issues
- Superior diagnostic and repair skills
- Expertise in automotive electronics
