  Join a global METS organisation as an Autonomous Project lead in a rapidly growing business based in Brisbane. The organisation is currently in growth mode due to recent launch of its autonomous solution for mine tailing facilities.
  This is a hands-on project management role, working with a cross functional team launch and roll out of newly developed autonomous solutions, nationally and internationally.
  To be successful in this role you will have experience in leading projects of work in medium sized businesses, an understanding of implementation frameworks, design and implementation of project assurance and recommendations of how to deliver customer outcomes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Lead strategic projects and programs of work that affect the entirety of the autonomous business.
• Support the Program and Project delivery across the group and ensure that programs are fit for purpose and applied to a high standard.
• Manage global pricing.
• Sign off on bill of materials for the autonomous product.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures specific to the autonomous solution.
• Have a hands-on management of scope, schedule, cost and quality for assigned projects and programs.
• Manage the project governance in line with the framework whilst also embedding and improving the Project Management Framework.
• Collect, analyse and understand insights to help support decision making.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

• Experience delivering significant programs of work in mining or construction or similar industry.
• Significant stakeholder management communication skills.
• Experience in leading autonomous projects in a cross functional Technology, Mechanical and Electronic engineering environment.
• Tertiary qualifications in Project Engineering, Project Management or Engineering.
• Portuguese or Spanish would be an advantage.
