JOB DESCRIPTION
The role of AV executive includes pre-production, production and post-production works. These include interactive media development, audio, and visual enhancement, rendered to output requirements and upload of media assets as required by the Online Learning Unit and other stakeholders. The AV executive works independently to attend project meeting, to brief and guide course developers/stakeholders to produce a wide variety of videos (instructional, promotional and interview, among others) as well as corporate events/activities.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Produces videos and other media assets for course development as well as live recording and video streaming for corporate events to meet the needs of the Online Learning Unit the University and key stakeholders.
2. Maintains and checks the quality for interactive and media content to ensure they meet organizational goals.
3. Incorporates latest production technology, techniques and processes to improve efficiency and productivity of Online Learning Unit AV production.
4. Provides support and guidance to senior officer and officer both in technical and technology know-how as well as creative aspects of media production to improve quality and quantity of media development.
5. Makes arrangement for interns to support interactive media and AV production. This includes, recruit, interview, induction, supervise, monitor, train and assess the performance of interns.
General Responsibilities:
1. Ensures proper housekeeping of projects which includes documents of loaned and returned items, backup of project files, update project development status and keep record of development timeline to improve productivity and personal effectiveness.
2. Supports corporates events such as organising teambuilding, AV studio visits, performing exam, orientation, and convocation duties as required by the organisation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree holder in Audio/Video Production, Film, Broadcasting, or a related field with 3 years and above or relevant working experience
- In-depth knowledge of emerging audio, video and interactive media technologies.
- Strong knowledge and hand-on experience in audio and video equipment, lighting, and camera operation.
- Experience in audio, video and interactive media production, including shooting, editing, and post-production.
- Proficiency in industry-standard audio and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro and video/ audio software).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines when required.
Responsibilities:
The AV Executive will report to the Senior Learning & Development Specialist and will be involved in the interactive media, video and audio production of UniLEARN projects involving the production of a wide variety of videos (instructional, promotional and interview, among others) as well as departmental, divisional and university events/activities. This position requires a profound understanding of audio, video and interactive media technologies as well as strong project management skills in order to meet production deadlines.
