Avaloq Specialist

Job Responsibilities :

• Design and shape Maybank’s long term strategy for Avaloq solution including a roadmap for system and feature enhancements thereby driving superior value propositions for Maybank’s customers.
• Lead the discussions with various stakeholders formulating business requirements and define prioritization based on business strategy and project synergy. Work with business to analyze different project prepositions performing cost/benefit evaluations and proposing optimal solutions.
• Act as a central point of contact concerning any functional or technical queries as well as support multiple Avaloq projects and workshops with users and partners (both internal or external)
• Lead and drive solution validation or analysis & design workshops across different business work streams to ensure consistent and complete requirement & solution coverage.
• Plan & design solutions, support project estimates and provide planning input regarding solution engineering and development.

• Identify potential impacts of new change on existing process through analysis and highlight any associated risks/issues.Defines testing requirements including test plans, test cases, test-data and review of interface testing between different applications. Execute test cases and resolve functional issues arising from user acceptance testing.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Banking/Finance, Business or other degrees such as engineering or computing with relevant experience
• 6 - 10 years of experience in Avaloq implementation, including parameterization, and possess a good understanding of Avaloq processes and modules(Must have)
• Experience working with business requirements through to system level functional specifications (Must have)
• Indepth Understanding of the Avaloq Core banking module both functionally and technically
• Practical knowledge of programming languages, and knowledge in database systems and SDLC
• Good understanding of core business processes and products in the private banking industry
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with clients and colleagues
