Description:
As an Aviation Ground Support Maintenance Technician at Skyfuel, based at our HQ with potential national deployment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our diverse aviation ground support assets.
Having direct responsibility for completing preventative maintenance to compliance management and fostering cross-business engagement, your responsibilities will span the full spectrum of technical execution. Operating both in the workshop and in the field, this ‘hands-on’ position offering a balanced workload and ongoing training, fostering a work environment that promotes a harmonious work-life balance.
As a key contributor to our 100+ mobile and fixed asset fleet, you’ll be accountable for the successful execution of maintenance and project technical scope, making a substantial impact on our operational excellence.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This role is perfect for an individual who enjoys hands-on engagement, as the scope of the role is highly centered on mechanical activities but also active participation in equipment fabrication, making it an ideal opportunity for those who thrive in practical, skill-driven environments.
- Perform scheduled quality control maintenance and maintain accurate records
- Diagnose, fault find, and repair aviation refuelling vehicles and associated equipment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in mechanical or related trades (i.e. Fitter, Welder, Boilermaker)
- Experience with aviation and hydrocarbon supply chain operations and standards is an advantage – JIG
- Experience with computerized maintenance scheduling
- A full and unencumbered Australian Driver Licence
- Ability to obtain an ASIC clearance
- Prepared to obtain weights and measures certificates
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills using common IT formats.
- Effective customer interaction skills in person and virtually.
- Cross-collaborative approach, demonstrated through previous positions involving team work
