We are currently recruiting for a Aviation Kerbside Officer to be based at Mackay Airport on a Casual basis.

As an Aviation Kerbside Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused security services while creating safe and memorable travel experiences for travellers and visitors transiting through Mackay Airport.
This position is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is keen to learn more or build on their existing knowledge of the Aviation industry.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

You will have:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-developed client service skills.
• Customer services experience.
• Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster.
• Valid Queensland Security Licence

• Demonstrated ability to engage with customers, consistently providing a high quality, positive experience.
• Applied skills, knowledge, and physical ability to perform all Security and Safety emergency procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced ever changing team environment.
• Demonstrated potential to undertake screening activities in a fast-paced airport environment.
• Consistently display professional standards of behaviour and personal presentation.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced ever changing team environment.
• Utilize excellent verbal communication skills.
• Complete incident reports as required.
• Engage with travellers and visitors in a positive manner when they are transiting through and arriving and departing the terminal
