Description:

The AVP for Corporate Strategy is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the various businesses that will drive long-term growth and profitability. This role involves analyzing market trends, assessing competitive landscapes, developing strategic initiatives, and ensuring they are tracked and executed.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, marketing or a related field with at least 5 years experience in a strategy or consulting role
  • Certified Public Accountant and/or Chartered Financial Analyst is an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute corporate strategic plans aligned with Group’s long-term goals and objectives
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and internal capabilities to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making
  • Conduct financial analysis to determine the viability of existing and potential investment opportunities.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on downstream strategy and scenario planning and act as the advisor on downstream business-related matters.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with overall corporate objectives
  • Create a business and organizational dashboard for impact and effectiveness
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior executives, board of directors, and business unit leaders, to gain buy-in for strategic initiatives
