Description:

AVP, Marketing & Communications
Greenstone is seeking an entrepreneurial, digitally savvy, Marketing and Communications AVP to join the firm, based at our Dubai Headquarters. This is an important role, with responsibility for both implementing solutions and being the go-to contact in a growing function, as our firm continues to expand across geographies and product verticals.

This role will cover 4 verticals:

  • Brand and external and internal communication strategy
  • Management of all internal and external communication channels
  • Content creation and copywriting for internal and external communications
  • Public Relations strategy and implementation (journalists, conferences, and awards)

Core Responsibilities of the Marketing and Communications AVP are:

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to craft, publish, own, and iterate our marketing strategy documents.
  • Publish and lead the execution of our forward-looking quarterly and annual marketing plans to reach company targets.
  • Own and maintain our corporate brand and website.
  • Own and maintain our corporate presence on LinkedIn and the standardization of our employees’ profiles on LinkedIn.
  • Develop, own and implement a corporate communications strategy and manage all internal communications channels.
  • Develop, own, measure the results of, and continually build thriving and effective demand-generation programs, including:
  • Content Marketing programs
  • Conferences & Events; and
  • Press relations.
  • Curate, publish and update sales enablement materials to empower our various sales teams and properly position Greenstone in the minds of Investors and Fund Managers.
  • Manage and improve an Investor Engagement program to better understand our LP investor networks, and measure & improve their engagement with Greenstone.
  • Develop and execute programs to measure the results of our marketing efforts and gather quantitative & qualitative feedback from our various market segments to identify opportunities to improve our marketing programs.
  • Continuously build your domain knowledge on the alternatives asset class and demonstrate in-depth knowledge in what we do as a company.
  • Research, gain approval for, and lead a network of tactical vendor-partners and internal partners to:
  • Assist the ongoing design, development, and maintenance needs of our corporate website;
  • Develop relevant content for our various content marketing programs;
  • Facilitate our success at events and conferences;
  • Assist our PR program to craft and distribute press releases, source relationships with influential reporters from industry publications and other media, and develop article and interview opportunities for key Greenstone employees;
  • Employ and administrate marketing-related technologies as needed to execute on our goals.

The Right Candidate

Greenstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition, qualified candidates for this role will possess the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Sales/Marketing of financial products and/or B2B marketing in the financial space (Private Equity/Alternatives a plus, but not required).
  • Thorough knowledge of the region and established relationships in the PR and marketing sector.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Superior academic achievement.
  • Strong, detail-oriented analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and to handle multiple projects at a time.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong work ethic and results-oriented mentality.
  • Personal and professional integrity.
  • Journalism or Communication major preferred.
