Our client is looking for a AVP/Senior Manager in facilities department that is driven and positive attitude. This role includes managing a team and the primary objective of this role is to oversee various aspects of building operations and facility maintenance within a designated campus or region.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of six years of progressive experience in a related field, with a preference for a bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or management disciplines.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- Proficient in comprehending and interpreting complex business documents, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders through reports, presentations, and negotiations.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Possess a deep understanding of financial principles, with the ability to calculate complex figures, prepare budgets, and conduct financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cultivate and maintain positive client relationships through regular meetings and effective communication regarding regional facility performance.
- Provide clients with information on property profiles, emergency plans, site inspections, facility audits, work order progress, and related reports.
- Direct the operations and maintenance of facilities within a specified cluster, ensuring service levels meet client expectations within budget constraints.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with client contract specifications.
- Prepare and present proposals to management and clients for project approval.
- Formulate strategic facility management objectives for clients, including the preparation of capital and operating budgets and variance reports.
- Conduct periodic facility inspections to uphold quality assurance and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide formal supervision to staff, overseeing recruitment, promotion, and performance appraisal processes.
- Monitor staffing levels and labor utilization, providing mentorship and coaching to team members to enhance competencies.
