In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data processing and analytics solutions using the company’s database platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver high-quality data solutions
• Optimise data workflows and pipelines for performance and scalability
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards and company policies
• Implement security measures to protect data and infrastructure, including integration with Azure Key Vault.

To apply for this Senior Azure Databricks Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Extensive work knowledge on Azure Databricks and Apache spark to develop ETL pipelines
• Good understanding of Azure Databricks platform and can build data analytics solutions to support the required performance & scale
• Excellent experience in Python and SQL.
• Extensive experience with large-scale data processing solution.
• Good knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts & Data Modelling
• Expertise with building CI/CD pipelines using Azure devops (or similar)
• Should have experience working on complex data architecture.
• Experience in Azure Databricks , Azure Synapse, ADF.
• Knowledge of Kafka Structured Streaming, Delta Live Pipelines, Unity Catalog, and SQL and Database Workspace Admin is a plus.
