We are looking for a passionate and talented IT Software Engineer who will be part of the IT Automation and Artificial Intelligence organization, focused every day on delivering business value and creating efficiencies in Intel’s business operations using Generative AI and Enterprise Automation platform. With the rapid advancements in Generative AI and Hyper automation, our organization is establishing reference patterns and Enterprise platforms for leveraging automation, GPT and other foundation models to accelerate the business. As an IT Software Engineer Automation Team, you’ll be responsible for a variety of activities supporting IT Automation and Artificial Intelligence organization services and capabilities.
Your primary focus will be development, configuration and support of Generative AI as a service and platforms, potentially including developing GAI Assistant/Apps, Plug-in, APIs, prompt marketplace, and Enterprise ChatGPT implementation, and referencing implementations for AutoGPT using Lang Chain, vector databases and/or Microsoft Azure AI Service/Cognitive Search.
Through the journey you’ll develop advanced skills in prompt engineering and help support a global Community of Practice on that topic. Attention to detail and being able to seek improvement opportunities to deliver efficiency and productivity are crucial for this role.
Demonstrate competence or is interested to learn and apply technologies to enable generative AI and automation. Strong architecture and technical skills end user collaboration skills, either during projects or for sustaining purposes will be highly desired. Leverages agile methodology to design and configure solutions; Works closely with IT product owner and business to develop required training, change management and operations process; Develop use cases, customer scenarios, and/or demos, and plan and coordinate testing of the newly developed or enhanced applications and provide support; Looks for opportunities to automate business process with technology, and may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. You will need to have strong written and verbal skills providing the ability to communicate complex issues to various audiences including business stakeholder and management.

QUALIFICATIONS

�BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
� Proven or 5-10 year working experience as a DevOps Software Engineer or similar role in software development and system administration.
� Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, ITIL, service management processes and tools.
� Strong understanding on GEN AI, LLM, Prompt is a must
� Strong experience with Azure Platform and Cloud Services, VM management including Compute, Storage, Network, and Developer tools.
� Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
� Experience NET, SQL, API, REST/JSON and XML, and integration.
� Practical working experience in Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI development is an add on.
� Excellent knowledge of databases, such as SQL and proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, and Python,
� Experience with test-driven development and ability to document requirements and specifications.
� Produces specifications and determines operational feasibility for software and applications.
� Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
� Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
� Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
� Writes well-designed, testable code either custom or from a specific development platform.
� Strong communication and teamwork skills.
