Description:
MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps tools and services, including Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Test Plans, and Azure Artifacts.
- 3+ years of a client facing role with demonstrated proficiency in relationship building and effective communication.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, cloud computing, or a related field.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager templates or Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experienced in Microsoft 365 tools, including Visio.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fields

Salary Expectation: $100,000 - $110,000

Responsibilities:
PURPOSE:
We are looking for an Azure Migration Consultant who will play a pivotal role the complex process of transitioning from legacy on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform. This role requires a strong background in cloud computing and automation. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the client’s cloud infrastructure while managing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will work closely with multiple implementation teams and ensure that code changes are made swiftly, safely, and efficiently across all environments. You will regularly interact with stakeholders to ensure seamless migration and ongoing support. The role offers remote work opportunities with occasional in-person meetings as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provision and manage infrastructure resources in the cloud using tools like Azure Resource Manager templates or Terraform.
- Develop migration strategies and roadmaps tailored to the needs of the legacy systems.
- Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes and that code changes are made swiftly and safely.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to multiple implementation teams involved in the migration process, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and status updates to communicate project milestones, risks, and dependencies, and address any concerns or feedback.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
- Ensure that our cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Create documentation for migrated systems, processes, and configurations, to ensure clarity and consistency across project teams
