ABOUT THE JOB:

We are seeking Azure Solution Architect to join our Azure Solutioning team. You will have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with our prestigious clients in these industries and contribute to their success.

YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 8+ years in a similar in Solution Architect role with expertise in data warehouses and data lake ETL/pipeline tools.
  • Comprehensive mastery of Azure services essential for data engineering and analytics, encompassing Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and more.
  • Azure Cloud Expertise: Proven experience in data engineering within Azure cloud environments, particularly Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with release and version methodologies, change management procedures, SQL coding (Microsoft dialect). Exposure to R, Java, Scala, Python is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of data modelling principles and hands-on experience in crafting efficient data models for analytics and reporting. Expertise in building ETL/ELT workflows utilizing tools such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Analytical Mindset: Deep understanding of analytics’ business-driving capabilities. Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify gaps in information, manipulate complex datasets, and showcase strong data cleaning skills.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly motivated with excellent time management skills, capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Data & Analytics PaaS, Azure DevOps, Azure Pipeline, and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge and experience in Power BI

Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with diverse business stakeholders (our clients) to comprehend data and reporting needs.
  • Insightful Analysis: Generate comprehensive analyses from data and reports to improve operational efficiency. Address concerns identified through data insights, fostering continuous improvement.
  • End-to-End Data Management: Oversee the entire data delivery process for new projects. This includes change management, ideation, requirements gathering, development, testing, and migration to production for dashboard creation.
  • Pipeline Development: Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Synapse. Create and manage metadata ingestion processes in ADF.
  • Cloud Data Solutions: Implement and deploy Azure-based data solutions across the Microsoft platform, leveraging ADF.
  • Data Governance and Best Practices: Support data governance activities and advocate for best practices within data warehousing.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Establish monitoring and alerting systems to promptly detect data pipeline failures or anomalies. Support Azure technology stack development and maintenance, managing code versioning across the BI platform.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Setup: Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support the data warehouse, ensuring efficient and automated deployment processes.
