Description:

AZURE SOLUTION ARCHITECT

KalSoft is hiring an Azure Solution Architect / Consultant to join our expanding team. The successful candidate can expect to gain broad range of experience and will be responsible for planning, analyzing, designing, testing, and deploying enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure cloud solutions. This position requires strategic thinking and technical skills, as well as a practical and proactive approach to problem solving.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience of defining and building Enterprise level Architecture for large applications using Micro services Architecture on Cloud (Azure)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
  • Solid engineering/technical background/hands-on experience with conceptualizing, strategizing, and architecting Enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure cloud IaaS and PaaS solutions.
  • Experience deploying and migrating to Azure IaaS/PaaS
  • Expert understanding of Landing Zone design, including requirements gathering.
  • Experience in conducting workshops, leading and designing Azure Landing zones migration.
  • Experience in Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps to help refactor, rearchitect, and rebuild apps in Azure.
  • Evaluate, automate, deploy, and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS resources using Terraform/Ansible/ARM.
  • Test and implement Azure Site Recovery (ASR) to migrate physical and VMWARE VMs to Azure with minimum downtime.
  • Design, implement, and perform automated DR tests between Azure regions with combination of ASR and native replication.
  • Experience in using NFRs, e.g. Accessibility, Performance, load, volume, vulnerabilities (static / dynamic code reviews), and security requirements
  • Lead technical discussions with senior customer executives that drive decisions and implementation approaches.
  • Design architectures with Microsoft Azure to meet our clients’ technical, security, and business needs.
  • Architect, design and deploy Azure and office365 services: networking, storage, architecture, security, migration, and integration.
  • Design and implement security solutions for cloud infrastructure systems and services (Identity management, systems access, MFA. Security audit, firewall, and network security).
  • Trusted advisor for high profile enterprise businesses.
  • Technical subject matter expert on both cloud and on-premises infrastructure systems.
  • Relevant Azure certifications will be an added advantage.
