JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from various sources, designing and implementing data models, and creating dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight. The ideal candidate will have experience in relational databases, NoSQL data stores, and AWS QuickSight, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills.
Experience with machine learning would be a bonus for your application.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle
• Experience with NoSQL data stores such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, and QuickSight
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices and tools
• Knowledge of data modelling and data governance concepts

• Collect and analyze data from various sources, including relational databases and NoSQL data stores
• Design and implement data models to support business requirements
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using AWS QuickSight
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and create data-driven solutions
• Develop and implement data quality and data governance processes
• Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders
• Create and maintain documentation related to data models, data dictionaries, and data governance policies
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to business intelligence and data analytics
