Description:
The Regional Field Marketing Specialist plays a key role in managing and implementing extensive global and regional B2B field marketing initiatives throughout the Ovid Business Portfolio. Ovid serves as a vital resource for nurses, doctors, students, professors, healthcare administrators, and allied health professionals, offering access to cutting-edge medical research from 120+ publishers across more than 100 specialty areas.
This role requires a hands-on approach to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales activities at the regional level. Leveraging market insights, they will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective campaigns and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies that align with corporate goals and target the specific needs of the designated regions.
- Campaign Management: Lead the execution of tactical regional/global marketing campaigns, ensuring they resonate with the target audience and contribute to lead generation and sales support.
- Product Marketing Partnership: Foster a strong relationship with Product Marketing to align regional strategies with product positioning and messaging, ensuring consistency and maximizing the impact of marketing efforts.
- Sales Alignment: Collaborate closely with local sales teams to understand their requirements, provide targeted marketing support, and ensure seamless alignment between marketing efforts and sales objectives.
- Event Coordination: Coordinate regional events, trade shows, and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and foster engagement with the local community.
- Content Localization: Work with central marketing teams to adapt and localize marketing collateral and content, ensuring relevance and effectiveness in the regional context.
- Performance Analytics: Track and analyze the performance of regional marketing initiatives using key metrics, providing insights for optimization and demonstrating return on investment.
- Budget Oversight: Track regional marketing budget efficiently, allocating resources to initiatives that align with strategic priorities and deliver measurable results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, central marketing, product management, and sales, to ensure a unified approach and maximize the impact of regional marketing efforts.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key regional stakeholders, such as customers, partners, and influencers, to enhance the brand’s presence and reputation in the area.
The Regional Field Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving growth through the development and execution of targeted marketing strategies, close collaboration with stakeholders, and a keen understanding of the unique market dynamics in which they operate.
Job qualifications
- 2 + years of B2B marketing experience, ideally either in demand generation or a field marketing role
- Experience with events organisation
- Experience with lead generation
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Additional European language skills (French, Spanish, Italian, German) are considered a plus.
Travel requirements
Up to 10% depending on business requirements.
Contract: 1 year maternity replacement
Location
The job can be held hybrid or remote from the UK. We have an office in London - Canary Wharf where you can meet with your colleagues and stakeholders.
