The Opportunity
The B2B Sales Engineer (SE) will function as a technology expert within the Samsung Mobile Enterprise (MX) division. This role will require a working knowledge of small-medium-sized businesses (SMB) and education (EDU), in environments including, but not limited to, Windows OS and deployment, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and Windows Deployment Services (MDS).
In this role, you will position best-in-class solutions for SMB/EDU customers leveraging the Samsung B2B portfolio and solutions from the partner ecosystem. You will be the technical expert for Samsung as well as all the solutions within the Samsung partner ecosystem.
Role and Responsibilities

Technical Expertise & Support

  • Address technical pre-sales challenges - conduct product presentations, develop proposals, technical evaluations and proof of concept engagements to support the sales process.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Samsung Windows B2B product and solution portfolio.
  • Provide product line sales support, feature development, and product category intelligence.
  • Test advertised functionality and work to fill any gaps within the portfolio.
  • Search out and find new applications that are strategic to Samsung.
  • Assist in the development and management of the Windows product line to ensure effective launch of new B2B products.
  • Support multiple configurations of Samsung products and solutions in complex enterprise environments.

Collaboration & Relationship Management

  • Closely collaborate with Samsung’s Product Management and Sales teams, as well as interact with customers.
  • Act as liaison between customers and Samsung Technical Delivery Manager when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other Samsung product divisions, such as, Display Monitors/Accessories to complete the One Samsung offering.
  • Engage with Alliance Partners including, but not limited to, Microsoft and Intel.

Training

  • Conduct regular in-person and web-based sales demonstrations for customers.
  • Prepare and deliver technical training and sales presentations to channel partners and/or direct customers.

This role will require 15 - 30% of travel.
The nature of this role and level of responsibility may require reasonable additional hours over and above 37.5 hours per week and may also require work outside of ordinary hours.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in an engineering (technical discipline) or computer-related field.
  • MCSA, MCSD, or MCSE certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Windows operating system.
  • Candidate must be able to appropriately handle internal and external high-profile escalations.
  • Experience with Windows Deployment Services (MDS) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Experience with Remote Management Software (RMS) Solarwinds, ConnectWise Automate, or Kaseaya
  • Experience with a (MSP) Managed Service Provider or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is preferred
  • Background in application development preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve project milestones within established time frames, as well as independently maximizing productivity
  • Ability to complete tasks and resolve problems that require creativity.
  • Ability to navigate fluid situations that have broad guidelines vs. firm process.
  • The ability to write, read, interpret, explain, and act on technical documents, engineering materials, and contracts (or related documents) based on corporate legal standards, engineering standards, and business philosophy.
  • Ability to deliver professional presentations in writing or orally, including complex business and technical matters to an audience with high technical skills, management, and operational experience.
