The Opportunity
As B2B Sales Manager Medical Medical Digitalization Platform and Data, you play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue streams of our software products and services in the German market. In line with the versatile functionality of our solutions, you will be addressing customers from both hospitals and industry, utilizing the benefit of our footprints in the medical and the data domains. In your role, you are responsible for achieving and preferably exceeding your commercial goals. Your focus is on winning new customers and managing the complete funnel.

  • in sales of medical device software, like CDR, HIS, PACS, AV or similar
  • in sales of other medical devices for ICU and similar hospital departments
  • in sales and account management of hospitals and other care providers
  • in sales of data lake and data analytics solutions, preferably in the medical domain

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual commercial goals and provide regular feedback to the Sales Director on progress toward those goals.
  • Active, structured management of your sales funnel.
  • Prospect potential clients, leads and referrals.
  • Identify new leads and gather the necessary information for evidence-based prioritization.
  • Initiate the sales process and qualify customers to develop a matching value proposition and solution.
  • Develop, present and sell new business proposals to appropriate prospects.
  • Sell additional coverage to existing clients.
  • Drive sales through a consultative sales process.
  • Utilize and manage customer relationship management system (CRM) to maintain all client and lead information.
  • Strategic business development to increase customer base generation.
  • Participation in ongoing sales training and coaching camps on a regular basis

About you

  • Full professional proficiency in German.
  • Proven track-record of identifying, qualifying, processing and closing complex B2B sales projects.
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in software business and at least 2 years in B2B outside sales addressing C-level and Senior Director level customers.
  • Ability to recognize the goals, requirements, and personal sensitivities of the decision influencers in order to align the sales strategy accordingly.
  • Proficiency in customer communication, in particular ability to identify und understand customer needs and buying motivation.
  • Strategic management of the sales funnel
  • Proven focus on customer-centricity and impact-driven mindset.
  • Outstanding communicator across multi-disciplinary teams and hierarchies, comfortable with both writing and presenting to achieve close alignment from a variety of stakeholders and to communicate product features and the rationale / benefits behind them.
  • You are structured, organized and results-oriented and able to balance and prioritize multiple projects while sticking to goals and timelines.
  • You have excellent discovery, business, analytical, data, research and troubleshooting skills to make the right decisions that will ultimately lead to a successful sales project.
