JOB DETAILS

Area of research:
Diploma & Master Thesis
Starting date:
01.06.2024
Job description:Flexible energy production from biogas plants can be achieved by using easily degradable substrates. However, the use of these substrates increases the risk of foaming in the biogas reactor. In addition to the influence of the substrates, it was observed that the extent of foaming depends on the properties of the digester contents (digestates). Therefore, different digestates will be analysed and compared with regard to their physicochemical parameters.
This research center is part of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centers. With more than 42,000 employees and an annual budget of over € 5 billion, the Helmholtz Association is Germany’s largest scientific organisation.
