ABOUT THE JOB BACK-END DEVELOPER

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join us in a green field project, tasked with developing and maintaining our platform. Your main responsibility will involve building REST APIs for our back-end services. You’ll collaborate within a stellar engineering team, focusing on various layers of the infrastructure. Commitment to collaborative problem-solving and producing high-quality software is crucial. This presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to brand and product development.

SKILLS:

• Strong experience in designing and implementing REST API providers and consumers
• Good grasp of Clean Architecture principles
• Demonstrable understanding of secure software principles
• Test-driven development or experience with testing methodologies
• Detailed understanding of general database workings, particularly MySQL
• Proficient understanding of Git and Docker containers
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field would be great but not required
• Previous experience in the Finance sector would be advantageous but not mandatory
• Understanding of multiprogramming (routines) would be a plus

IT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL IF YOU ALSO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH:

• Interaction with payment providers (credit card and others)
• Previous work in the financial sector
• Basic Linux system administration skills
• Docker / Kubernetes / Gitlab
• AWS Cloud services
• Event-driven architecture - Kafka

• Design and implement software and related services
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and deploy new features
• Identify and address bottlenecks and bugs
• Assist in maintaining code quality and organization
