Responsibilities:

As Back of House Manager, your key objective is to ensure you are facilitating smooth inventory management for your store, including priority processing of deliveries for the floor, managing all IBT’s, faulty items, negative stock, and markdowns. You will also lead daily, and weekly Back of House walk-throughs with the Store Manager to ensure your team are trained in correct store security and loss prevention policies and procedures.

You will also be responsible, however not limited to the following duties & responsibilities:

  • Provide direction to the Back of House team around daily priorities for stock to floor and delivery processing
  • Plan and manage stock deliveries, ensuring door to floor period of 24 hours is achieved
  • Ensure that maximum stock availability is delivered through effective management of replenishment systems.
  • Manage all IBT’s & send backs to agreed deadlines
  • Ensure the BOH layout clearly identifies bestselling brands, classes, and styles
  • Effectively manage faulty stock and write offs in line with company guidelines
  • Investigate negative SOH weekly and action accordingly
  • Provide direction and guidance to the Back of House Team Members through setting clear expectations
  • Provide both positive and constructive feedback to team members to encourage, improve or enhance performance
