Back Office Wireless Engineer Contractor

Kimberly Hume is looking for a Back Office Wireless Engineer to work a 6 month rolling contract roll based in South Africa (Port Elizabeth).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for the commissioning, debugging, cutover and acceptance of wireless products (including GU, CDMA&LTE and TDD);
• Transfers skills to technical engineers of representative offices and outsourcing personnel.
• Provides technical support and troubleshooting for maintenance during the engineering period.
• Handles the faults escalated from the front line of wireless products.
• Escalates the faults that cannot be handled by the second line of wireless products to the third line of technical support.
• Conducts preventive maintenance of wireless products.
• Provides optimization suggestions or solutions based on wireless network problems
• need to support the optimization work.
• Priority given to having experience in MTN project
• Priority given to having experience on Ericsson equipment
