MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Highly proficient in Java 17 and/or Kotlin.If the candidate is very strong in Java and willing to adapt to Kotlin that is ok.
• Proven experience in asynchronous programming and API development
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Cassandra.
• Solid experience in cloud architecture - CI/CD pipelines & Docker

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in FinTech is a massive plus.
• Proven track record developing lightweight reactive microservices: Vert.x, Quarkus, Micronaut or Spring Boot.

  Salary Range:The salary for this position is between $90,000 – $95,000 annually. Factors affecting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Backend Engineer

• This person will be a junior/mid-level full stack engineer and will be building software as part of a lean team of the banking/money movement organization; this org works on the ability of global transactions to and from external banks and bill pay features.
• This person will be an individual contributor and will ensure infrastructure is safely extensible, scalable, reliable, and meets SLAs for both external and internal users. Create a brand for the platform composed of APIs, a Developer Portal, Tutorials and SDKs.
• Ensure solutions are testable, intuitive, and easy to maintain. Use tools for remote collaboration and developer happiness, i.e., IntelliJ CodeWithMe and Tuple. Participate in design and code reviews for key components and cross-enterprise initiatives.
