JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a dedicated Backend Engineer to join our Data Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in developing and maintaining our Big Data platform, contributing to the core of our data processing capabilities.

• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient Big Data platform components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and technologies.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of our data infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Continuously improve system architecture and design for optimal performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, expected to graduate in Jun 2024 or graduated in 2023.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages like Java, Scala, or C++.
• Familiar with Big Data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Flink and Kafka) and database systems.
• Experience with OLAP technologies and data modeling is highly desirable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in backend development, particularly in Big Data platform development.
• Excellent learning capabilities to adapt to evolving technologies and frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
