ABOUT YOU

  • To apply for Backend Engineer role there are some key things that we are looking for:
  • You have a minimum of 3 years experience for a mid-level and 6 years for a senior in backend software development. Preferably an expertise in C#/.NET or Java, though strong experience with other languages would be valuable.
  • You have experience working on complex large scale software platforms with varying tech stacks, and tech debt.
  • If you have experience with moving away from Monoliths and modernizing web applications, it would be beneficial.
  • You have worked in a start-up or scale-up environment that is fast paced and evolving.
  • You deeply understand the platforms and libraries you use.
  • You consistently produce clean, production ready code that is easily testable and understood.
  • Your CV is full of achievements you are proud of.
  • You are concise, clear, and courteous in your communication.
  • You are curious and innovative.
  • You take calculated risks and are not afraid of failure.

Responsibilities:

  • Join our engineering team in a mid-level or senior capacity and contribute to design decisions.
  • Use your technical experience to plan new features, kick off major product enhancements and reduce tech debt.
  • Code review the work of your team members or peers.
  • Mentor your team, helping them to grow technically and professionally.
  • Convert ideas to products and features in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Participate in the recruitment of engineers.
