Backend QA Engineer (f/m/x) – Instant Payments Technology

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Hands on experience in agile software delivery
• Functional and non-functional test automation experience incl. knowledge of respective frameworks (Java, Cucumber, API testing, Postman)
• Basic experience on relational (e.g. Oracle) and ideally also non SQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
• CI/CD pipelines usage and development e.g. Jenkins, Helm Charts etc. plus development and monitoring tools (e.g. IntelliJ/Eclipse, Splunk, Geneos, New Relic)
• Communication skills, problem solving attitude and team work
• Fluent in English, proactive and self-organized

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strong focus on automation but also the definition and implementation of QA strategies
• Work with a Team on functional and non-functional requirements and liaise with stakeholders such as product owners, business analysts, production support units
• Passionate about technology, understand the product and contribute to our vision, integrate business value and help us foster an engineering culture across teams
• Passionate about “breaking” software, finding loopholes in order to establish a consistent customer experience, ensuring the delivery of resilient and high-quality software
• Contribute to our test engineering chapter to discuss and adapt industry best practices such as frameworks, methodologies and QA strategies
• When product experience gained, mentor and direct more junior QA engineers

As a Backend QA Engineer (f/m/x) for Instant Payments, you will be responsible for the end-to-end quality of all our Instant Payment backend applications and components.
