Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Crafting bread and other bakery products in the test bakery under controlled conditions to aid in product improvement and ingredient adjustments.
  • Assessing products from plant trials and test baking against the required specifications, and reporting findings promptly.
  • Conducting and reporting weekly evaluations of site bread quality.
  • Collecting data, making measurements, and taking necessary actions following established guidelines.
  • Conducting activities in accordance with internally approved protocols.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in bakery processes, including receiving a brief, creating recipes, baking, testing, and reporting under controlled and reproducible conditions.
  • Sampling and testing raw materials to assess their functionality for baking and final product quality.
  • Executing tasks to test and trial ideas with support from Development Managers and the Continuous Improvement Team.
  • Analysing data to interpret findings and provide recommendations for change.
