Research and Development1. To provide support to the Health and Wellbeing in the completion of research projects.2. To learn to apply psychometric questionnaires and cognitive assessment under the supervision of anappropriate member of the Health and Wellbeing Team3. To become familiar with and implement the use of statistical software (SPSS) as appropriate foranalysis of research data.4.
To conduct administrative tasks, including use of IT skills and record-keeping, for support of researchprojects. Clinical Governance1. To liaise with other professionals and agencies to ensure that bestpractice is shared.2. To promote the use of effective interventions and research methodologies3.
To participate in Clinical Governance processes Teaching and Training1. To attend Assistant Psychologist local and regional meetings.2. To participate in appropriate training courses and workshops as directed by supervisor3. Supporting qualified staff in the delivery of training.4.
To gain wider experience of professional psychology within the NHS over and above that provided within the principal service area where the post holder is employed5. To understand that the Health and Wellbeing Team is a host Team within South Glos Vinney Green Secure Home and will be required to complete core essential training at Vinney Green and undergo a Warner Interview.
