Description:

An excellent opportunity if you are looking to start or resume a career in HR!
The Shared Medical Workforce Services Team delivers high quality, expert medical HR support at the Royal Free, the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), North Middlesex University Hospital and several other partners. This role will provide an invaluable introduction to HR in the health sector, in particular the desirable specialism of working with doctors.
After initial training, you will provide a wide range of HR and recruitment related administration and support to colleagues and service users following clear processes. This will include updating and maintaining systems including those used for doctors’ recruitment, job planning, revalidation & appraisal and the electronic staff record system (ESR). You will respond to emails and telephone queries and prepare various documents.
You must be enthusiastic, motivated and be able to work well under pressure. As you will be working within a team, you must be adaptable, flexible, and cooperative. You will be expected to meet trust values; to communicate clearly and be welcoming, respectful and reassuring. Prior experience and skills needed in computer literacy, analytic abilities, working knowledge of MS Office software and keen to learn new systems.
We currently have two fixed-term opportunities within the team and are happy to consider applications from those who wish to work full or part-time.
The post-holders will carry out an interesting and varied range of tasks using initiative and high-level administrative and organisational skills whilst developing their knowledge of doctors’ terms and conditions of service. The office you shall be based in is the Enfield Civic Centre. However, remote working for part of the week is possible after an initial training period. You may also be required to work at any of our sites occasionally.
