JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a Band 5 Children’s Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. This is a temporary position at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, where you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and their families.
As a Children’s Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients, from newborns to adolescents. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans for each child, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
During your shift, you will need to be attentive to the needs of your patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing support to both the children and their families. Your ability to communicate effectively with young patients and their parents is essential in building trust and rapport.

This temporary position offers a competitive payment rate of £493.50 per shift, paid on a paye basis. Your shifts will start at 19:30:00 and end at 08:00:00, allowing you to provide care during the night when your patients may need it most.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin
• Experience working with children in a hospital setting
