You will hold an appropriate professional registration (NMC, HCPC etc) , will have a strong proven clinical knowledge within mental health and demonstrate ongoing professional development. Previous experience of working with older adults is desirable. The role will include use of computer systems so proficient use of IT is necessary.
This is an exciting opportunity to have an impact on the quality of mental health care for older people. By joining North and East Wiltshire Community Mental Health Team, based at Bewley House in Chippenham, you will be a part of a warm and effective team with a variety of disciplines and skill sets.
Successful applicants will work predominantly with Older Adults, with functional mental health problems. You will provide a responsive, needs-led mental health assessment and plan and deliver short-term interventions for individuals presenting with a range of mental health problems.
Referrals originate from a wide range of sources and high quality interdisciplinary communication is essential.
This is a challenging, but rewarding post, within a team who are extremely proud of the high quality, compassionate care they deliver in collaboration with service users their families and health and social care services. The team facilitate placements for students from a range of health professions
