Description:
To work as part of the STEPS eating disorders specialist dietetic service, which provides a dietetic service to both inpatient and community eating disorder patients. To oversee the FREED early intervention pathway the STEPS team provide as one of their treatment pathways. To act in accordance with Dietetic Professional Standards when advising patients, carers and other health care professionals in the dietetic management of service users. The post holder will be closely supported by the dietetic team at STEPS and the wider AWP dietetic service.
To maintain accurate patient records in accordance with departmental and national standards. To provide effective education and training at a range of levels including to service users, carers, health care professionals and students. The post holder will also be able to facilitate patient groups, providing psycho-education around nutrition and the challenges faced by eating disorder patients. To supervise and support dietetic assistants within our Service
