Description:
Band 6 Senior Recruitment Officer
Location: Hobart
Contract Length: 3 + months
Rate: $69 per hour + super
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Screening and shortlisting of candidates
- Coordinate and schedule interviews
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Provide guidance and support to junior recruitment staff, as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in recruitment
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, techniques, and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ideal: previous experience in government
