Description:

Band 6 Senior Recruitment Officer
Location: Hobart
Contract Length: 3 + months
Rate: $69 per hour + super

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Screening and shortlisting of candidates
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior recruitment staff, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in recruitment
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, techniques, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ideal: previous experience in government
