Description:

The Wiltshire Autism Diagnostic Service provides complex specialist diagnostic assessment for those suspected of having autism spectrum disorder, and offers post-diagnostic support to autistic clients and their families / carers/ support teams across Wiltshire.

The post-holder will contribute to a range of activities. Primarily, to provide high quality complex diagnostic assessments for adults suspected of having autism spectrum disorder.
We carry out our assessments according to a NICE gold standard pathway, using tools such as the ADOS, ADI-R, CAT-Q, and DISCO.

To provide a service to the specified Team including assessment and post diagnostic support to both individuals and groups as appropriate
To assess and offer post diagnostic support to a specialist workload of clients and maintain associated records.
Participate in CPD and other developmental activities
Undertake R & D and clinical audit as required as well as delivering training.
Help in the clinically supervision and support of other staff in team, health and social care staff and students.
To help the team develop sensory integration skills
