An exciting rare opportunity has opened up to manage the Additional Reimbursable Roles Scheme (ARRS) , working across, Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) based at Kingswood Civic Centre.
We are looking for a motivated, passionate, forward thinking and aspirational team manger to support the ARRS team . As the ARRS Team Manager, your role will be pivotal in supporting the service manager to facilitate collaborative working between Primary Care and Mental health services.
This post is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
We are looking for an experienced Mental health practitioner to manage the ARRS service with the support from the service managers. You will be supporting mental health professionals delivering care from GP surgeries across Bristol, North Somerset & S Glos ( BNSSG). In addition you will be forging strong networks and relationships between Primary care & Mental health services, including MINT teams, VCSE partners, Local Authority, Drug & Alcohol services, to create integrated partnership working
The successful candidate will be supervising Band 6 ARRS mental health practitioners.

Community mental health services are evolving so that in future people have a personalised, preventative and proactive integrated approach. Primary Care, voluntary services and AWP are working together to provide a one team approach for our local populations. Working alongside our communities and local authorities we aim to work with patients and their families making sure that issues such as housing, debt, carer fatigue, addictions are addressed at the same time as mental health problems. A range of professionals including care navigators, peer support workers and this role, Mental Health Practitioners (ARRS) with be joining the existing services coming together to provide the one team approach.

The team manager will play an active role in the development of services in line with the trust’s strategy and business plan.
