Night Health Care Assistant | New Hall Hospital | Bank Contract - Ad Hoc Hours
It’s an exciting time at New Hall Hospital, we are recruiting for our new development. The expansion will offer a new ward, day surgery unit, 5th laminar flow theatre and a digital update to our imaging suite. This investment will ensure the hospital continues to grow as a center of excellence in spinal and orthopaedic care. We are now one of the busiest hospitals for elective spinal surgeries in the UK.
An opportunity has arisen to appoint enthusiastic and energetic Health Care Assistants to join our busy night Ward team at New Hall Hospital on bank contracts. We are looking for dynamic individuals who are looking for flexible working hours and have the enthusiasm and commitment to provide a high standard of care for our patients. It is essential the successful candidates are computer literate with a good grasp of English and communication skills with a focus on customer service. The applicants should have a passion to learn in a busy working environment.

Your duties will include

  • Providing support to the nursing team and consultants in an HCA capacity
  • Develop excellent working relationships with staff, consultants, patients and all key stakeholders
  • Successfully preparing, organizing and assisting in the running of consultant clinics.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Good team player
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate effectively with consultants, colleagues, patients and visitors on a day to day basis
