APPLICANTS MUST:

Be a qualified ODP with current license to practice or a Registered Nurse with a recognised post graduate anaesthetic qualification
Minimum of 15 months post new qualification experience. (3 months preceptorship and then 12 months acute experience)
Have recent acute hospital experience within the last 18-24 months
Have a drive to work hard, enthusiasm and the ability to commit to a 4-day induction programme if successful
Have right to work in UK (with relevant Adaptation/ONP if applicable)
Have the ability to commence work within 3 months of offer

Responsibilities:

Participate in all aspects of clinical operating department work
Provide a high standard of patient care and safety in accordance with the North Bristol NHS Trust philosophy and objectives, policies and legal requirements.
Ensure duties are carried out in accordance with the advisory guidelines and practice set out in the HCPC/ NMC code of conduct.
Deputise for the Team Leader when required/experience allows.
Being responsible for assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of patient care
Take responsibility for the supervision and guidance of other staff including healthcare support workers and students, as required.
