Description:

Bank Peer Tutor will be involved in the planning, delivery and evaluation of a range of mental health recovery based educational courses for services users, their carers, family and friends and staff across Hackney. The role will also involve working with the Recovery College team in developing new courses to support the development of the recovery college syllabus and this may involve delivering courses online via different online platforms.
The role will include meetings, planning sessions, teaching sessions and internal/external training.
The candidates for this post would have completed the recovery college co-production training

Responsibilities:

  1. Co-design, co-produce and co-facilitate courses at the recovery college following the recovery college ethos
  2. Ensure courses are fully co-produced and in keeping with the CHIME model
  3. Complete appropriate lesson plans and documentation for courses being run
