Bank Sonographer - Rivers Hospital - Bank Hours
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated sonographer to join the imaging team at Rivers Hospital, with experience in gynaecological conditions
Rivers Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading providers of NHS and private patients’ services in England. We are based on the Herts & Essex boarder and is easily accessible from London and the Home Counties. The hospital opened in 1992 and is equipped with the latest medical facilities for diagnosis and treatment, and has very high quality clinical standards. The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the imaging team at Rivers Hospital as a Sonographer. The Radiography department covers Theatres, X-Ray, Mammography, CT, MRI and Ultrasound.

What you will bring with you

  • HCPC registered a member of the Society of Radiographer
  • Clinically justify ultrasound referrals using referral acceptance criteria defined within the Ramsay UK referral and scanning protocols.
  • To independently perform ultrasound scanning duties to the required standards of Ramsay Health Care and autonomously produce a clinical report for each ultrasound scan undertaken. ·
  • To undertake any administrative duties that may be necessary for providing an efficient service for patients and their results. ·
  • To actively participate in matters concerning clinical governance, clinical audit, assessment and incident reporting. ·
  • To have responsibility for ensuring professional and technical knowledge/expertise is kept up to date and to maintain a portfolio to show evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • An excellent knowledge of diagnostic imaging service delivery with a passion to deliver a high quality service
