Description:

MEET OUR CLIENT:

Our client is a young girl aged 12 with Cerebral Palsy she is looking for passionate, fun loving, caring support staff to join her support team supporting her in her home, school and community.
She suffered a brain injury at birth, she has a permanent PEG (for top up feed and medication needs). She also requires support with all Activities of Daily Living. Experience preferred but not essential as you will work as part of a team and will receive all required training including regular clinical supervision.
You will be required to drive our clients adapted mobility vehicle- to escort her to and from school/in and around the community.

PLEASE NOTE WE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE, THEREFORE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONSIDER CANDIDATES WHO REQUIRE A CERTIFICATE OF SPONSORSHIP TO WORK IN THE UK.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, and proactive Bank Support Worker or PA with a full Driving Licence to join our small team of established carers in the St Helens area. This is a bank contract working as and when required.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • A motivated and enthusiastic male or female required, with a commitment to promoting and maintaining an independent lifestyle for an individual with Cerebral Palsy
  • You will have the opportunity to develop your skills whilst delivering care to an individual in their own and family home
  • Undertaking a range of duties to support the client, you will work closely with the other team members to provide the highest standards of health care.
  • Establish and maintain a trusting, therapeutic, working relationship with client, family & Case Manager
  • Complete daily records as advised including; time sheets, daily records, care plan summary and critical incidents, petty cash etc
    The post requires that you work independently and as part of a team, to a great extent. The post therefore requires that you work and conduct yourself in a manner that is acceptable to the employer. Reliability, integrity and complete trustworthiness are essential attributes in this post.
