Description:
As a Banqueting Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in organizing and executing banquets, conferences, weddings, and other special events. You will liaise with clients to understand their needs, coordinate with various hotel departments, and oversee all event logistics to ensure the highest standards of service. Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate all banqueting activities, from initial client consultation to event execution.
Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Collaborate with the hotel’s kitchen, service, and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, seating arrangements, and equipment needs.
Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.
Manage budgets and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate records of events and client interactions.
Proven experience as a Banqueting Coordinator or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
