Description:

The main attributes, duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Committed professional, reliable, and able to work under pressure
  • Duty managers certificate
  • Full understanding of NZ licensing laws and the Liquor Act
  • Enthusiasm for craft beer and brewing
  • Passionate about hospitality
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Exceptional organisation skills with great time management
  • Hands on working with your peers, positive and enthusiastic
  • Ability to monitor systems, procedures and working knowledge of the food safety act
  • High standards of service, understanding of good customer relations and focus on quality
  • Able to think on your feet and make instantaneous decisions’
  • Check stock levels and order correctly ensuring rotation to minimise wastage.
  • Monitor and order bar and food supplies.
  • Make sure deliveries are all checked in correctly and documentation is correct.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar areas, food caravan and brewery is kept to a high standard.
  • Supervise the daily operations of the bar when rostered as the manager on shift.
  • Food preparation and cooking

Applicants ideally would have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position, hold a Duty manager’s certificated be familiar with food preparatio
