- Hold an Approved Manager’s Licence or be willing to obtain it before commencement
Responsibilities:
DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront is seeking a passionate and talented Bar Manager to lead our busy Bar Operations at 18 Knots rooftop Bar. Our Bar Manager will be a beverage enthusiast who is passionate about delivering an unsurpassed bar experience. To thrive in this role you will have experience managing and motivating our bar team, exceptional industry acumen, an outstanding customer focus, and be highly visible throughout service.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Prepare weekly schedules for bartender and server staff to adequately cover all shifts.
- Monitor inventory of beverages to ensure adequate stock is maintained.
- Oversee cleanliness of team members and physical bar area, paying special attention to possible health hazards.
- Review sales and beverage costs, and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and according to company guidelines.
- Oversee the preparation of beverages and ensure the quality of the product served.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the bar within relevant legislation regarding the service of alcohol and licensing.
- Implement improvements for products and services.
