What will you do in this job?:

  • Providing daily oversight, including function and logistics organization, increasing sales and profitability, establishment, and consistent delivery of exceptional guest service standards
  • Anticipate key issues and informational needs and be prepared to discuss ongoing performance and functions that will enhance the performance of the food and beverage operations.
  • Manage labor per shift, foresee overages and shorts.
  • Work closely with the food and beverage management team to ensure the highest standards of service are met.
  • Assist in the efficient supervision of the outlet’s staff.
  • Leading the team with a positive attitude and recognizing a job well done
  • Assist with development and retention of high-quality team members.
  • Become deeply ingrained in the operations of food and beverage to drive employee satisfaction, guest satisfaction and financial performance (labor control)
  • Mirror management standards that foster an environment of problem solving, service, teamwork, accuracy and speed, improved business practices and attract and retain superior talent on our team.
  • Make employee and guest safety a cultural cornerstone to maintain our reputation as an industry leader and guest safety advocate.
  • Provide support to all the Company’s research and guest satisfaction programs.
  • Assist with planning and execution of functions.
  • Ordering, inventory, and stock stake
  • Cross promotion of all Pursuit attractions and divisions.
  • Organization of all liquor storage locations and assistance of inventory tracking and input.
  • Training and progression of bar team.
  • Regular stock taking and ordering of wine, liquor, and beer.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?:

  • Basic knowledge on the distilling process of each main spirit group (i.e. vodka, rum, gin, whiskeys)
  • Thrives in a fast paced, high-energy work environment.
  • At least 1+ year bar experience with a minimum of 6 months working in a busy restaurant environment in a supervisory capacity.
  • Guest service oriented
  • A positive, ‘go getter’ attitude.
  • Able to lift at least 15 pounds.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Pro serve qualifications
  • Flexible with work schedule (morning & evening shifts)
