ABOUT THE ROLE

Allpress Singapore are looking for a Barista Trainer to provide support to our customers through a range of workshops and on-site visits, by introducing the fundamentals of Allpress Espresso. Our Barista Trainer will teach our wholesale customers to prepare and serve coffee and steam milk to our recipe. They will proactively plan, schedule and run training classes both in-house and out at customer locations, regional trips and occasional overnight travel.
The trainer will take an active role in customer engagement, driving coffee expertise amongst our customer base and providing the skills and tools to grow their business. The trainer will support our customers with troubleshooting, workflow improvements and alternative brew methods and provide friendly, professional service and expert knowledge on our products and services. In addition to our customers, the Barista Trainer will be driving coffee knowledge and educating our internal teams. As well as organising and executing customer and coffee cart events.

You’ll be a seasoned barista or coffee professional with a passion for teaching and sharing your skills and knowledge with our customers to help them grow and maintain outstanding coffee quality. To be successful in this role you will need:

• To be an engaging, clear communicator who is comfortable presenting to a group
• Have experience with coffee machinery and equipment and the ability to troubleshoot in person and over the phone. Specifically La Marzocco and Mazzer machinery
• Be a proactive and flexible team player who can work autonomously, think on their feet as well as pitch in with the wider team to help out
• Have great computer, admin, and organisational skill
