Belmond is known for its exceptional properties and luxurious accommodations, and our Bartenders play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for our guests.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience as a Bartender or in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including different types of spirits, wines, and mixers.
  • Proficiency in preparing and presenting a wide variety of cocktails and drinks.
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures.
  • Flexible schedule and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty drinks, following recipes and ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Engage with guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies, glassware, and ingredients.
  • Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure efficient and timely service.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and staff.
  • Stay updated on current trends, new products, and industry best practices in mixology.
