Bartender (Part-Time)

Job Overview:The Bartender (Part Time Weekends)is in charge of providing afriendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests. Each Bartenders primary objective is to show our guests such a marvelous time, they will want to return again and again.
Compensation: $17-19/hr.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform job duties, demonstrate excellent work habits, deliver superior service to internal and external guests, exhibit the highest degree of professionalism, ethics, and integrity, and comply with all governing policies and procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to pass a bartender skills test
• Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
• Must be willing to obtain a Riverside County Food Handler Card and/or Serve Safe Certification upon hiring.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accepts orders for beverages and delivers to guests in assigned area.
• Ensure friendly and efficient service to the guest.
• Applies positive communication and interpersonal skills with guests, (internal and external) at all times.
• Completes all set-up duties in timely fashion
• Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable; let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
• Provides prompt, efficient, and courteous service to guests.
• Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
• Up-sell beverage items using suggestive selling techniques.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other Property functions and services.
• Garnishes cocktails, knows brands, prices, and availability of all items.
• Monitors alcohol consumption according to TiPS guidelines.
• Receive cash, credit cards, member credit and is responsible for maintaining accuracy in bank.
• Performs opening and closing duties in the service areas.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work area according to Sun Lakes Country Club standards and Health Department regulations.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise.
• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the property beverage floor as directed by the beverage manager or immediate leadership.
• Other duties may be assigned from time to time.
