We are looking for a skilled Bartender to join our team at one of our hotels within the iNUA Collection group. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mixology, possess excellent customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you’ll be responsible for crafting exquisite cocktails, providing personalised service to our guests, and contributing to the overall success of our beverage program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment, preferably within a hotel or upscale restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests and build rapport.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Mixology Excellence: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and creativity, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour.
  • Customer Service: Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, anticipate their needs, and create a welcoming atmosphere at the bar.
  • Menu Knowledge: Demonstrate thorough knowledge of our beverage menu, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, and offer recommendations to guests based on their preferences.
  • Upselling: Proactively promote specials, signature cocktails, and seasonal offerings to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
  • Cleanliness and Organisation: Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including proper storage of ingredients, glassware, and equipment, in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, and management, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and company policies, including checking identification to verify legal drinking age and refusing service to intoxicated guests when necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed, and minimising waste to control costs.
  • Training and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, attend training sessions, and participate in workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in mixology and hospitality.
